This past weekend, in a delicious bit of black humor, a painting by the renowned street artist, Banksy, self-destructed immediately after selling at a Sotheby’s London auction for £1,000,000 (approximately $1,400,000). No shows for approximately one month until we exhibit at Antiques + Modernism Winnetka (IL), November 1-4, 2018. We always look forward to our twice yearly exhibits in the greater Chicago area.
